Step one of getting the PCM customized is to remove it from the car. The next part is to package and ship it to the tuner. In my case this is Pro Auto Tech in Ft. Myers, Florida. I bought most of the other modification components from Ron and Tiffany therefore they know what I have and how to tune things. If you are going to ship your VALUABLE PCM across the country, be aware of a few things. First of all NEVER USE MAILBOXES ETC. They screwed me over in a major way. They were to ship my PCM and Throttle Body to Pro Auto Tech so that it would arrive there in 5 days (over Memorial Day weekend). Well, it arrived there in 11 DAYS!! Due to their stupidity! It arrived just in time for Ron and Tiffany to leave for the Route 66 show. So my stuff sits there waiting for them to return and work on it. My car was down from the 27th of May to the 18th of June. MBE REALLY SUCKS! Anyway the photos below show: (1) placing the car on stands; (2) removal of the right side front wheel and tire; (3 and 4) removal of the cover panel exposing the PCM and TAC (throttle actuator control) module.
Now we see the (5 & 6) PCM out of the car
And the TAC (7) out of the car. And the car (8) - just waiting and waiting.
So, here's some of the stuff you get from Ron:
