The Story on Systems

Well, you see, the real deal here is those pictures and all that junk on the preceding page is how things USED to look a few years ago.  Actually there are NO www.frankhunt.com systems at that location any more.  There are a bunch of servers that are turned off -- the REAL work is being done from an undisclosed remote location (near where Dick Chaeny hangs out when he is hiding).  But anyways, we run a bunch of stuff here including:
Brand X, home built 1.1GHz web and email server running RH Linux.  about 75GB of disk.
An old HP X800 - Dual processors, 2GB of memory, fast SCSI drives.  Used for development and crash/burn.  Runs Windows 2K when it runs.
Dell Optiplex GX270, 3.o GHz, running Ubuntu Feisty Fawn.  Not enough memory yet but it has 290 GB of disk.  Backup web server.
HP xw8200 - dual CPU (3.4GHz), 3GB of memory and about 550GB of disk - this is the development system.
2 ViewSonic 20.1" flat panel monitors.  Both are connected to the xw8200, one is connected to the other systems via KVM.
Dell Laptop of some kind which is used for surfing the net while watching TV
HP laptop used for my "real" job.
OfficeJet 5600 All-In-One printer thingie.
Some Network stuff
The usual scanners, web-cams, pencil sharpeners, rubber bands, etc.
Cold beer in the refer

APC 1.5 KVA UPS

Internet is Comcastic and it works most of the time (except right after they "upgrade the system to improve reliability).
That's it/
